Our rapid growth and breadth of accounts translates into exciting opportunities for our people!Job SummaryThe Senior Sous Chef supports the day-to-day culinary operations of a high-volume, fast-paced business and industry account with five dining outlets. Working closely with the Executive Chef, this role assists with menu development, food production, catering execution, and the supervision of culinary staff, while ensuring that quality, consistency, food safety, and cost-control standards are met. The position is primarily Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with weekends as needed, and plays a key role in supporting new culinary programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Culinary degree or certificate with relevant professional experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Strong knowledge of food quality, production, sanitation, presentation, and cost controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and email systems
  • Must obtain and maintain required property access clearance, including a rigorous background and fingerprinting process

Nice To Haves

  • Catering experience preferred
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations strongly preferred
  • Institutional or batch cooking experience a plus
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Bilingual preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and culinary staff
  • Assist with menu planning, food production, and catering execution
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Assist with ordering, inventory management, and cost controls
  • Support training and development of hourly culinary associates
  • Help implement new culinary programs and initiatives
