Now we’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for our sales motion—building tailored demos, shaping solution architectures, and driving customer confidence in the power of Circuit’s platform. As our Solutions Engineer, you’ll be embedded directly with the Sales team as the technical expert who brings the product to life for prospective customers. You will design and deliver tailored demos, guide technical discovery, and translate customer requirements into actionable inputs for Product and Engineering. You’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and an internal bridge across Sales, Product, and Engineering. This is not a typical presales role. You will be hands-on with the product, building Smart Circuits, configuring environments, working with real manufacturing documents, and pressure-testing the platform as a power user. You’ll also participate in shaping the roadmap by channeling customer insights, identifying gaps, and validating new features in collaboration with Product. In your first year, you will have built a repeatable demo engine, contributed directly to major enterprise wins, shaped the technical requirements for new product capabilities, and become an expert in how real manufacturers can deploy Circuit to transform their workflows.

Requirements

  • 6–9+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Presales, Application Engineering, or adjacent fields.
  • Strong technical foundation—ability to understand APIs, data structures, system architectures, and AI-driven workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and deliver tailored demos or proof-of-concept environments.
  • Experience translating complex customer requirements into clear product or engineering inputs.
  • Comfortable presenting to both technical and business stakeholders, from engineers to executives.
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS, AI systems, manufacturing tools, or technical documentation.
  • Hands on experience using, working with, and integrating into ERP systems (SAP, Netsuite, Epicor, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • A builder mentality—you iterate quickly, think in systems, and see customer challenges as opportunities to create solutions.
  • High proficiency using AI tools for research, prototyping, and accelerating workflow development.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to guide customers through complex technical concepts.
  • Highly collaborative across Sales, Product, and Engineering.
  • Adaptable and energized by early-stage ambiguity and hands-on work.
  • Curiosity and a learning mindset, especially around manufacturing systems and workflows.
  • Low-ego team player who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build, customize, and deliver high-impact product demos tailored to customer workflows, data, and industry use cases.
  • Serve as the technical authority in customer calls—answering questions on architecture, integrations, AI capabilities, permissions, and deployment.
  • Lead technical discovery to define requirements across data, documents, workflows, and integrations.
  • Translate customer needs into solution designs using Circuit’s core platform components.
  • Define technical success criteria for POCs and pilots, and help structure the technical win strategy.
  • Evaluate customer data, documents, and workflows to map how Circuit can solve critical problems.
  • Provide structured feedback, user stories, and clear technical requirements derived from customer conversations.
  • Partner with Product to validate new features, identify gaps, and help shape roadmap priorities.
  • Communicate customer needs, solution patterns, and recurring technical blockers to Engineering.
  • Create demo environments, Smart Circuits, and example datasets to support sales cycles.
  • Use the platform daily as a power user—identifying bugs, UX friction, and opportunities to streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product to refine usability, performance, and feature completeness.
  • Support onboarding during initial stages of implementation or POCs.
  • Provide best practices guidance on data structuring, deployment strategy, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure smooth handoff to Customer Success for long-term adoption.
  • Develop reusable demo templates, technical documentation, and solution patterns for internal use.
  • Build internal playbooks for presales workflows, demo environments, and common technical objections.
