At Nango (YC W23), we’re building the modern way for developers to build product integrations. Companies run on an ever-growing stack of software, and meaningful automations require these tools to work seamlessly together. That only happens through integrations.
We’re the leading open-source platform for product integrations. More than 100 paying customers, including Replit, Linux, Vapi, rely on Nango today. We’re a multi-million ARR company with a team of 10 from AWS, Snyk, Netlify, Uber, Samsara, etc. We're growing fast through inbound and product-led adoption.
We’re backed by YC, Gradient and executives from Cloudflare, Retool, Notion, etc. Adoption is especially strong among fast-growing AI companies, where integrations are the first step to connecting agents with the real world.
We are hiring a Solutions Engineer to work directly with our most important customers and prospects. This is a highly technical, high-impact, and customer-facing role at the center of engineering, product, and business.
This is a strategic, front-facing role with impact across product, engineering, and go-to-market. It is a great fit for someone who enjoys both deep technical work and close customer collaboration, and who wants broad exposure to how a developer infrastructure company is built and scaled.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong hands-on coding skills.
• Very comfortable with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend stacks.
• Experienced in designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs and integrations.
• Strong customer-facing instincts. You enjoy teaching, pairing, explaining, and solving problems live.
• Native-level English communication, with strong written and verbal clarity.
• Passionate about developer tools and building outstanding developer experience.
• Pragmatic, positive, and low ego. You step in, unblock others, and move things forward.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Startup-ready. Autonomous, ownership-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Based in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with customers to design, implement, and debug complex integrations using Nango.
• Build production-grade integrations, proof of concepts, and advanced examples in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Support customers with their most complex technical use cases through calls, pairing sessions, and async support.
• Create reusable templates, reference implementations, and integration patterns, often leveraging AI to scale impact.
• Define best practices and guidelines for building high-quality integrations on Nango.
• Answer advanced support requests and help unblock customers quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate closely with product to surface gaps, improvements, and new opportunities in the platform.
• Partner with the business team to understand customer health, unblock deals, and improve positioning.
• Engage with the open-source community when advanced integration topics or use cases arise.
• Act as a technical bridge between customers, support, product, and engineering.
