We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join the Fastr team during an exciting period of growth and platform evolution. This role is ideal for an experienced Solutions Engineer who enjoys architecting thoughtful technical solutions, partnering closely with customers, and leveraging AI and data to unlock deeper insights and better outcomes. You’ll work directly with some of the world’s most recognizable brands and retailers, helping them design, implement, and optimize experiences using Fastr Frontend. While this is a more senior role, there is significant room to grow - especially as Fastr continues to expand its AI-driven analytics, experimentation, and customer strategy capabilities over the next 12–24 months.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience architecting and reviewing front-end solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (including ChatGPT or similar) to design, evaluate, and implement technical solutions.
  • Experience working with analytics platforms, experimentation tools, or A/B testing frameworks - or the ability to confidently speak to these concepts.
  • Comfort translating data into insights and using those insights to inform strategy and customer recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and the ability to think holistically about systems, performance, and long-term scalability.
  • Experience using browser developer tools for debugging, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus points for experience with ecommerce platforms such as SFCC, Magento, Hybris, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
  • Bonus points for prior experience in high-growth SaaS or platform-focused environments.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable customer solutions on Fastr Frontend, leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Take an AI-first approach to problem-solving - designing solutions and using AI tools to accelerate development, data analysis, and experimentation.
  • Partner with customers to understand complex business and technical requirements, translating them into performant, maintainable implementations.
  • Support and advise customers on analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing strategies using Fastr’s upcoming analytics-focused platform.
  • Analyze customer data, site performance, and experiment results to surface actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor in customer-facing conversations, confidently speaking to architecture, data, experimentation, and performance.
  • Conduct technical investigations, troubleshoot platform issues, and collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to drive resolution.
  • Review and optimize customer implementations for Core Web Vitals, SEO impact, and front-end performance.
  • Contribute to internal best practices, documentation, and solution patterns as the Solutions Engineering function continues to mature.
  • Mentor junior team members and help elevate the overall technical and consultative bar of the SE team.
