Partner with the best In this role, you will be the customers' trusted advisor and technical expert. Collaborating with sales partners, you'll facilitate product adoption and account growth with a winning mindset for Akamai and our customers. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for: Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers. Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate. Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customer's needs. Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos and Proof of Concepts (POC's).

Requirements

  • Have 8yrs of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or another related field
  • Have experience working in a customer-facing or consulting role in technical presales/sales engineering/post-sales.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the internet, including but not limited to technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), APIs etc.
  • Have experience or an interest in working with DevOps, Media or Internet Security
  • Have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences.
  • Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment

Responsibilities
