Working hands-on with Fortune 100 customers, you'll address complex application security and performance challenges, enable next-generation digital experiences, and help global brands scale with confidence. Requirements

  • Have 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Have experience working in a customer-facing consulting, technical solutions pre-sales or pose sales role
  • Be a customer advocate passionate about delivering technical solutions
  • Demonstrate understanding of the internet, including but not limited to technologies like DNS, HTTP(S), APIs
  • Have experience or an interest in working with CDN architecture, Cyber Security, AI, SEO, and Devops.
  • Demonstrate experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiences
  • Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment Similar

Responsibilities

  • Owning the end-to-end presales technical process, creating sales opportunities by demonstrating Akamai's platform and value
  • Partnering with Sales to define account strategy and guide customers toward solutions that address complex business and technical challenges
  • Translating customer goals into secure, scalable, high-performance architectures that drive adoption and successful deployments
  • Guiding customers in designing and validating end-to-end Akamai solutions spanning application security, advanced performance, and modern DevOps/automation workflows
  • Leading technical sales activities, including demos, Customer Analysis Reports (CARs), and Proofs of Concept (POCs)
  • Managing the technical proposal process, ensuring recommendations are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer requirements
  • Tracking account activity and technical engagements to support business analysis, forecasting, and executive-level reporting
