About The Position

BlueAlly is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for our Technology Team with deep expertise across the Nutanix platform portfolio, including HCI, storage, virtualization, automation, and hybrid/multi-cloud solutions. This role is a
hands-on presales solutions engineer
who partners closely with sales, customers, and Nutanix SMEs to design and position technically sound, scalable infrastructure solutions.

This position is
not part of an enterprise strategy or broad portfolio architecture team. The ideal candidate focuses on
solution design, validation, and customer engagement, serving as the Nutanix technical authority in sales cycles rather than an overarching enterprise architect.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or presales engineering role
• Strong hands-on background in infrastructure, storage, and virtualization
• Deep experience with the Nutanix platform, including:
• Nutanix AOS (storage and HCI)
• AHV virtualization
• Nutanix Prism (Central & Element)
• Nutanix DR & replication (Leap, Metro, Near-Sync)
• Nutanix automation and lifecycle management
• Experience designing and positioning hybrid cloud architectures, including Nutanix Cloud Platform integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Working knowledge of adjacent technologies such as networking, backup, security, and disaster recovery
• Proven ability to engage with customers in a presales capacity and support deal cycles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales and technical teams
• Willingness to travel to customer and company locations as needed

• Nutanix Certified Professional –MulticloudInfrastructure (NCP-MCI)
• Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP)
• Nutanix Certified Master (NCM)– a plus
• VMware VCP (helpful for migration and competitive scenarios)
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – preferred
• Infrastructure or storage certifications (e.g., Cisco, NetApp, or equivalent) – a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team toidentifycustomer infrastructure, storage, and hybrid cloud requirements
• Design and propose Nutanix-based solutions aligned to customer technical and business objectives
• Act as the technical lead for complex Nutanix opportunities, including HCI, storage, DR, automation, and hybrid cloud use cases
• Deliver architecture designs, technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts
• Translate customer requirements into Nutanix reference architectures and best-practice designs
• Partner with Nutanix field teams and internal SMEs tovalidatedesigns and accelerate deal closure
• Providetechnical guidance on migration, modernization, and consolidation initiatives
• Stay current on Nutanix platform updates, roadmap, and competitive positioning
