About The Position

As a member of the Software Engineering Department, you will drive the successful delivery of innovative software solutions by coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role will work closely with Engineering Managers, Technical Business Partners (TBPs), and the QA team to ensure smooth operations, clear communication, and on-time delivery of high-quality software. Requirements

  • Agile / Scrum (ACP) or Certified Scrum Master or Certified Agile Trainer
  • BS in Computer Science, Business, Information Management, or relevant industry experience
  • PMP certification.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in technological and/or management positions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience with managing software development projects through their entire life cycle (including launch and implementation) using automated management tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience using JIRA and JIRA Product Discovery for project management.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, drive alignment, and communicate effectively across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Monte Carlo estimation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a weekly project status meeting with all Engineering Managers to update roadmaps and the Technical Investment Panel (TIP) document.
  • Ensure consistent application of Monte Carlo Estimation across all project requirements.
  • Ensure transparency on progress, risks, and impediments.
  • Maintain a project risk register to identify, track, and manage risks throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Escalate critical risks with mitigation strategies
  • Assess delays and propose solutions, including scope adjustments to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies as needed (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
  • Oversee and document progress across all deployment stages (Development → QA → Pre-Production → Production), ensuring environment readiness and stakeholder visibility.
  • Document and communicate deployment timelines in an easily consumable format for TBPs and the business.
  • Identify gaps and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Work closely with TBPs, Engineering Managers, and QA to ensure seamless software delivery.
  • Provide high level project updates to kick off TIP meetings.
  • Support Engineering Managers in sprint planning and coordination.
  • Ensure the Data team is updated on application changes impacting their operations.
  • Identify and manage dependencies across releases to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Help to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to increase delivery speed or quality.
