As a Senior Software Engineering Manager within PNC's Technology Organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Birmingham, AL or Denver, CO o Own delivery of key initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring outcomes align with business priorities o Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive results o Translate ambiguous requirements into clear plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes o Identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early; recommend pragmatic solutions o Use data and metrics to inform decisions and continuously improve processes o Communicate progress, issues, and options clearly to senior leadership Uphold high standards for quality, reliability, and operational excellence Job Description Manage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines. Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship. Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market. Encourage sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design. Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
