About The Position

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help lead the design and development of our core healthcare technology platform. You’ll play a key role in setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring our products are scalable, secure, and intuitive for patients and providers. This role is ideal for a senior technologist who’s hands-on in modern full-stack development (Node.js, React, TypeScript) and passionate about improving healthcare through technology.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise with Node.js, React, and TypeScript in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservice architectures.
  • Solid grounding in modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, AWS, Azure, or similar).
  • Proven experience designing scalable, resilient systems in high-growth or complex domains.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or scaling healthcare technology platforms, such as EHR integrations, care navigation, patient engagement, or AI-driven healthcare tools.
  • Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, HIPAA compliance, and health data interoperability.
  • Background in startups or early-stage product environments where autonomy and speed matter.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop high-performance, scalable services and front-end experiences using Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
  • Set technical direction for major projects, ensuring best practices in code quality, testing, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
  • Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical deep-dives.
  • Champion engineering excellence by contributing to internal frameworks, developer tooling, and CI/CD improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards (HIPAA, PHI handling, interoperability APIs, etc.) where applicable.
  • Drive innovation in healthcare workflows, patient engagement, and AI-enabled features.
