Senior Software Engineer - Virtual Products Growth
About The Position
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Virtual Products Growth team, you will help drive a healthy and ever-growing creator economy at Roblox. Our mission is to create new revenue streams for our creators and support their quest in building delightful experiences on top of our platform. We are looking for someone who can work with product managers and data science on end-to-end requirements to develop and maintain a scalable, secure, and reliable platform for our creators to thrive. As we are responsible for a large portion of the company's revenue, you will drive projects with high impact and visibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing consumer-facing products.
- Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework like React, Vue, Angular, etc.
- Experience with distributed systems, API design, and microservices architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
Responsibilities
- Develop remarkable products and systems that will delight our users.
- Work with the product, data science, and design to help refine requirements.
- Contribute to or drive the overall end to end system design.
- Have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what's next for the company.
