Members apply strong technical skills in coding, debugging, and design while promoting knowledge sharing and technical ownership. The team emphasizes proactive problem-solving to enhance system performance and customer satisfaction. Committed to advancing technology, the group focuses on efficiency and long-term impact, ensuring high-quality outcomes that support Walmart’s evolving platform goals.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding standards using languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and user stories.
  • Skilled in debugging, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Knowledge of telemetry, security policies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver iterative, maintainable software solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and classify requirements to align business and technical needs, ensuring comprehensive solution scoping and estimation.
  • Design scalable software components by evaluating trade-offs and converting high-level designs into detailed functional logic.
  • Develop maintainable, testable code adhering to coding standards and security policies, utilizing appropriate languages and frameworks.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure quality and performance meet business objectives.
  • Automate routine tasks within CI/CD pipelines and implement telemetry for monitoring application health.
  • Troubleshoot defects and performance issues, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that support evolving business goals and technology advancements.
