Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
AutoHDR is an AI real estate photo editing company, processing 20% of all US real estate photos. The company is seeking unusually strong engineers who can contribute broadly across the stack, including product features, backend systems, internal tools, debugging, and AI workflows. Candidates should also possess specialized knowledge or experience in at least one high-value area such as computer vision, ML, frontend, media processing, or high-throughput systems. The role is for builders who can take ownership and contribute significantly to the product and engineering efforts.
Requirements
- High-agency builder who likes ownership
- Ability to operate across frontend, backend, and product work
- Demonstrated exceptional ability in a meaningful way
- Experience as a founder, CTO, founding engineer, first engineer, or someone who owned a core product or platform
- Not a strict specialist who only looks useful inside a narrow research or data science lane
- Ability to contribute broadly to product and engineering
- Founder / co-founder / CTO / founding engineer experience
- Zero-to-one product building experience
- Extraordinary ownership over a core feature or system
- Experience in hard technical environments
- Experience with real shipped products with real users
- Exceptional open-source, research, or competitive ability that reflects real technical horsepower

Responsibilities
- AI image editing systems
- Backend services and product features
- Training and inference pipelines
- Model-serving and media-processing workflows
- Optimize computer vision and other algorithms for accuracy and speed
- Improve development systems, internal tools/automations, and squash bugs
- Implement/improve full-stack features for user-facing AI image editing tools
- Implement/improve full-stack features for new property manipulation tools (virtual staging, re-lighting, grass-greening, etc)
- Implement/improve full-stack features for our photo editing model style marketplace
- Implement/improve full-stack features for automated video editing through user-created workflows
