About The Position

The Fidelity Investments Workplace Investing (WI) organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in test to join the Stock Plan Services (SPS) Technology team. This role is crucial for expanding Fidelity's market-leading equity compensation platform globally. The successful candidate will join a team of technologists focused on Automation, Continuous Integration, and Test Data ecosystems. The position requires significant collaboration with various business and IT groups throughout project lifecycles, directly influencing the technology vision and impact on the Workplace Investing organization's success. Stock Plan Services manages equity compensation programs for public and private companies, including Employee Stock Purchase Plans, Restricted Stock Awards/Units, Stock Option Plans, Stock Appreciation Rights, and Performance-based Awards, serving over 1.6 million participants across 300+ clients in 150 countries. The business aims to expand further into the international equity compensation market, starting with Western European countries, by extending capabilities to create a truly global platform. Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
  • Expertise in TypeScript, Java, Karate and Playwright
  • Expert knowledge in test automation frameworks and demonstrate proficiency, quality and passion in your coding ability
  • Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or Postgres
  • Experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc.
  • Experience with UI and Microservices Architecture, Restful API’s, Enterprise messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Github
  • Experience in delivering projects in an Agile environment
