About The Position

This platform is crucial for seamlessly configuring clinical data, protocols, schedules, and plan definitions for both clinical studies and care programs. In this role, the Senior Software Engineer will be instrumental in developing systems for content management and localization within Verily's Enterprise suite of applications, directly enhancing the experience of patients and participants by ensuring they receive clear, actionable, and timely information in their preferred languages.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building web applications and backend systems.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering software in a collaborative environment with a cross-functional team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with TypeScript/React and/or Go.
  • Deep understanding of design patterns for building robust, scalable, and maintainable applications.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and find effective solutions in a collaborative environment while seeking to improve team processes.
  • Experience working in healthcare technology and/or familiarity with the HL7 FHIR standard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of complex technical solutions for enterprise web applications that configure and manage content for clinical trials and care programs.
  • Collaborate with a team of software engineers, product managers, UX designers, and other cross-functional peers to deliver best-in-class software.
  • Iterate and provide feedback on product requirements and mocks.
  • Deliver software written in TypeScript/React and Go and deployed on GCP and enable third-party integrations that speed up implementation.
