Senior Software Engineer - Clearing and Settlements
About The Position
As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering efforts to expand our core Platform for Clearing & Settlement. You are expected to participate in the design and building of complex features and services, ensuring scalability and reliability across various financial transaction processes. You will solve complex, systemic issues that require an innovative approach and a deep understanding of system design and architecture. As a voice within the team, your role will actively shaping our engineering culture, refining technical standards, and promoting best practices in system design and software engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in designing, implementing, and scaling high-performance services.
- While our stack includes Golang, experience in Java, C++, or similar languages, coupled with a willingness to master Go, is required.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting and contributing to systems that solve complex business challenges, with a particular focus on scalability, distributed systems, and handling vast data volumes.
- Capability of participating in system design discussions, explaining trade-offs to both engineers and stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a variety of audiences, fostering collaboration and driving consensus among team members and stakeholders.
- A strong emphasis on user experience, demonstrated through API design, service functionality, and performance optimization.
- A solid grasp of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and a broad understanding of various technology stacks and frameworks.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with our technology stack (Golang, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- A commitment to mastering these technologies is expected.
