About The Position

As a Senior Software Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of Walmart e-commerce with other systems. The ideal candidate should have at least 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend development and integration. Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend development and integration.
  • Strong experience in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Proficiency in SpringBoot framework.
  • Experience with SQL (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos/Cassandra).
  • Knowledge of Kafka for real-time data streaming.
  • Familiarity with Spring framework.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Experience with Elastic Search is a plus.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
