About The Position

CyberArk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Security team, responsible for the Control Plane — our cloud platform for securing machine identities. In this role, you will help advance our next generation Certificate Lifecycle Management capabilities and shape how global organizations manage and protect their machine identities at scale.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
Proven experience building modern, scalable backend or distributed systems.
Strong proficiency with Golang, Java, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, high performance engineering environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of x509, PKI, and certificate issuance protocols (e.g., ACME, SCEP) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and architecture of backend features that enhance the Machine Identity Cloud platform.
Develop and maintain high quality backend services for the Machine Identity Security cloud platform using Golang and Java.
Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power the platform’s frontend and system to system integrations.
Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to deliver data efficiently through GraphQL and other interfaces.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed services within the Machine Identity Security ecosystem.
Drive continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
Participate in a paid on call rotation to help ensure platform reliability and a best in class user experience.
