About The Position
Completes behavioral health clinical assessments to determine appropriate care plan and disposition, develops post hospital plans for patients, provides therapeutic support for patients and their families and assists other members of the treatment team in caring for patients with behavioral health needs. Requirements
- Master's Degree: Social work or related field of study.
- Upon hire: Washington Advanced Social Worker License, Or Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License, Or Upon hire: Washington Mental Health Counselor License, Or Upon hire: Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License
- Experience in social work and crisis interventions in a hospital or acute treatment setting.
- Experience with both involuntary and voluntary psychiatric hospitalization.
Nice To Haves
- Chemical dependency counselor/ alcohol and drug abuse counselor experience.
