OLIVER is seeking a qualified Senior Social Media Manager to join our dynamic ice cream team, with in-person participation required. We are looking for a tech-savvy professional who can provide strategic thought leadership in social and brand management, with a strong emphasis on community engagement and content creation management. People management skills are also essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media, video, imagery, strategy, data analytics, and marketing campaigns. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are a must, along with the ability to develop engaging content. You should be a natural communicator with excellent customer service capabilities and the ability to moderate both online and offline interactions with our community. This position will be based in the NY/NJ area as in-person participation is required.

Develop social media content calendars and campaigns for well-known brands in the ice cream space
Work with our in-house creative teams to create engaging video, copy and photography assets for social media channels
Design social assets using Canva, CapCut (design work is light)
Compile comprehensive analytical reports with recommendations for owned channels and campaigns
Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
Liaise with the brand to stay updated on new products and features
Oversee high profile partnership logistics including strategy and execution
Increased knowledge on how to navigate controversial topics responsibly
Interpret partnership briefs and legal documents as it relates to channel assets and usage
Counsel brand team on the best way to utilize partners across social and how to measure success
Work quickly and effectively to keep pace with overseeing a macro community in the millions
Serve as a liaison between brand team and key stakeholders
Provide counsel to brand team on social media channels – including best practices, new channels for consideration
Track record of increasing brand affinity through social led opportunities and trends
Spearhead social planning for the following year, as well as the ability to be nimble as brand priorities change and shift
Assessing available creative assets and proactively making recommendations of when new creative or assets are needed

3-4 years of experience in an advertising and/or public relations agency
Have background working with high profile brands that can be applied
Experience in client relations and the ability to adapt to different personalities and work styles
Proven work experience growing and managing a social community
Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
Experience creating and managing social content calendars
Ability to perform light design work
Ability to identify and track relevant qualitative metrics
Excellent verbal communication and written skills
Hands on experience with social media management for brands
Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
Ability to write social captions across all current social media platforms

Multi-cultural creative marketing experience preferred
Experience with ice cream brands preferred

Base salary range from $76,500.00 to $85,500.00
Total compensation package includes various components based on job-related factors
