DESCRIPTION: Join our team as a Senior Skilled Trades Professional and make a meaningful impact in supporting critical manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing sophisticated facility systems and equipment in a GMP environment. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on critical systems including HVAC, water purification, compressed gases, and specialized manufacturing equipment. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. You'll work collaboratively with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and regulatory compliance, while having opportunities to mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in pharmaceutical/medical device GMP environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building systems: HVAC, WFI, Clean Steam, Compressed Gas, Environmental Chambers
  • Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills including PLC systems and controls
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Proficiency in preventive/corrective maintenance procedures and documentation
  • Knowledge of cGMP requirements and FDA regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with hazardous materials handling and safety procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures

  • Facilities/Maintenance certification or trade certification preferred
  • State licenses in relevant trades preferred
  • Experience mentoring and training others preferred
