About The Position

The Senior Signage Installer is a highly skilled field professional responsible for leading the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of signage products. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety and professionalism on every job site.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional sign installation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of sign types, construction methods, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency with electrical wiring for signage and familiarity with low-voltage systems.
  • Ability to safely operate lifts, bucket trucks, cranes, and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs., work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL or willingness to obtain one.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
  • Experience leading or mentoring installation teams.
  • Welding or metal fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation projects for interior and exterior signage, including electrical signs, channel letters, monument signs, pylons, vinyl graphics, wayfinding systems, and specialty structures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair signage systems, including lighting components (LED, fluorescent), structural elements, electrical connections, and mounting hardware.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and installation plans.
  • Operate equipment and tools such as bucket trucks, boom lifts, cranes, welders, drills, multimeters, and related installation machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies while maintaining a clean and safe job site.
  • Oversee and mentor junior installers, providing on-site training, guidance, and quality control.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Document work performed, including service notes, installation photos, and material usage.
  • Collaborate with fabrication teams to evaluate signage for installation readiness and identify improvements.
  • Willingness to travel to all parts of the country as required. Travel may be up to 20%
