About The Position

AttainX is seeking a skilled Senior SharePoint-Power Apps Developer to join our team at USCIS. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in developing and deploying custom SharePoint Online solutions using Microsoft (MS) 365 and Power Platform to support evolving business processes and digital transformation initiatives. This role emphasizes modernization, automation and collaboration across teams to streamline agency workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in SharePoint development, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead role
  • Demonstrated expertise in SharePoint Online and MS 365 development
  • Demonstrated expertise in Power Platform (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular)
  • Demonstrated expertise in back-end and integration services (e.g., .NET, C#, SQL Server, RESTful)
  • Demonstrated expertise in version control and DevOps (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in federal government environments especially with USCIS or the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and Agile development practices
  • Familiarity with work environments the use Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Working knowledge of Databricks or a similar platform (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) controls and/or MS 365 governance

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, CSOM, REST API and Power Platform tools (i.e., Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Implement and maintain SharePoint portals, sites, workflows and libraries tailored to USCIS business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure security and compliance with federal standards, including access controls and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
