This position will initially begin in a part-time capacity, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as responsibilities expand and organizational needs grow. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to build real-world experience with Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will assist in maintaining and enhancing our organization's SharePoint environment, contribute to the development of Power Apps solutions and automation, and help support the underlying data infrastructure that powers internal tools and workflows. You will work closely with project teams, business operations staff, and clients to translate operational needs into practical technology solutions. Salary will be dependent upon experience. Location: Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Denver or San Antonio. Summary: This role combines elements of both SharePoint administration and development. SharePoint administration focuses on configuring, securing, and maintaining the platform’s infrastructure, governance policies, and user permissions, while SharePoint development extends the platform’s functionality through applications, workflows, and customized interfaces built using Microsoft Power Platform tools. In this position, you will help support the environment while also contributing to the development of new solutions. Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online (site creation, lists, libraries, permissions).
  • Basic experience building or customizing Power Apps (canvas apps).
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and experience using SharePoint lists as data sources.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation.
  • Ability to write and interpret basic formulas using Power Fx.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with non-technical users.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or similar development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of Power Apps canvas applications.
  • Build and manage Power Automate workflows that integrate with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services.
  • Assist with administration of SharePoint Online, including site creation, libraries, lists, pages, and permissions in accordance with governance policies.
  • Help configure and maintain the organization’s SharePoint data structures, including sites, lists, and document libraries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Power Apps and SharePoint solutions reported by end users.
  • Perform testing, quality assurance, and documentation for new and updated applications.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of internal development standards, documentation, and best practices as our SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities expand.
  • Provide support and training to staff on newly developed Power Apps and SharePoint tools.
