About The Position

The Senior Servicing Specialist will act a liaison between NFM Lending, Secondary Market Investors, and NFM Sub-Servicers. They will ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data exchanges, loan deliveries and escalated customer service issues. They will also ensure all servicing policies and procedures are adhered to. Essential Job Functions: Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage, Board, and Analyze all loans retained for servicing and servicing released under co-issue loan sale, including wiring of escrow funds to sub servicers. Upload servicing files to sub servicers. Servicing loans sold and those managed by third party servicers for mortgage originator that sells loans both directly to agencies and aggregator/ investors. Act as a liaison between NFM Lending and designated loan sub-servicing providers. Monitor and manage daily Sub Servicing Reports. Submit Post Purchase reconciliation to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other Secondary Market Investors. Reconcile data (not limited to Principal and Escrow balances) Manage and monitor shared servicing mailbox Update Flood certificate ensuring transfer to new buyers or servicers. Deliver high quality service to borrowers, coworkers, and outside vendors/sub-servicers. This position will work as a team lead to assist in the oversight of Servicing Department staff by troubleshooting issues and answering questions. Manage service release transfers for scratch and dent loans to third parties on non-saleable loans. Manage onboarding of seasoned repurchased loans to interim or sub servicing platform. Send sub servicing loan payoff alert notifications to sales team members. Support fellow Senior Servicing Specialist with Sub Servicing functions. Required Job Functions: Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following: Work independently to complete tasks. Build policies and procedures for department. The Sr. Servicing Specialist is expected to maintain satisfactory attendance and report to work on time every day. This position may require occasional overtime and travel.
