About The Position

The Senior ServiceNow Developer will support ongoing development and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform, primarily focused on ITSM. Working under the guidance of the ServiceNow Architect, this individual will deliver high-quality configurations, customizations, and integrations aligned with technical standards and client requirements.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• At least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification — ITSM preferred.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, including application scoping, data segregation, and performance optimization.
• Expert-level proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (server-side and client-side JavaScript, Glide APIs, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
• Familiarity with release coordination, version control, and agile delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow configurations and custom applications.
• Collaborate with the architect and business analysts to clarify requirements.
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to best practice documentation.
• Maintain and refine update sets, release processes, and technical documentation.
• Support ongoing improvements and optimization of ServiceNow ITSM modules.
