As part of this remarkable journey, we are looking for a Senior Service Area Manager / Route Sales Manager. The Senior Service Area Manager / Route Sales Manager is an essential part of the Service Department and is responsible for supporting the service organization through timely, accurate, detailed quoting and proposal generation, technically knowledgeable about equipment, process and parts to support the organization. Growing and nurturing the efforts within the Service Area Manager and Route Sales groups ensuring efficient and a proactive approach. Ensuring proper install base data collection and analysis to develop market plan of approach for the Service organization. You will report to the Director of After Sales and be a part of the After Sales team in North America.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in the field of rendering is necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Sage experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and accuracy is a must have; strong analytical mindset, critical thinking skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be adaptable and be able to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions
  • Some travel is required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, develop and grow the Service Area Manager Team (US and Canada)
  • Lead, coach, develop and grow the Route Sales structure and processes
  • Responsible to work with Commercial Service Business Manager to identify, develop and build structure around service products and market approach
  • Responsible for supporting the Regional Commercial teams (US and Canada) and the Capital Sales organization
  • “Service Revenue / Order Intake” - intake, maintenance, and increase is part of the overall Service department structure and the Service Sales group will be influential in contributing to this overall goal
  • Achieve set monthly, quarterly, yearly goals and targets that will affect set KPI’s
  • CRM/ERP
  • Install Base Integrity (development, data entry and maintenance)
  • Account and Contact information Integrity (data entry and maintenance)
  • Case / Opportunity maintenance
  • Visit reporting entry and maintenance
  • Sales Order entry process
  • Work with Customer Service Manager, development of pro-active plan to approach the market to increase rebuild, upgrade, promotional…. Service revenue generating sales.
  • Develop and maintain developed route schedule along with working in unplanned customer requests, working with in cooperation with the Route Sales Driver
  • Identify and act upon upselling opportunities
  • Report data relating to our competitors and the market as it may become available (i.e. timing of competitors’ routes, loss of opportunities to said competitors, etc.)
  • Responsible for transparency of the route schedule between the Customer Service Advisors, Capital Equipment Sales, Technical Service and Rout Sales Drivers
  • Responsible for Service Area Managers and Route Sales Drivers visit report data entry into CRM system
  • Responsible to analyze Service Area Managers and Route Sales Drivers visit report to identify opportunities that the Customer Service depart can provide solutions or improvement in the coordination of the route
  • Work with CRM to create “leads” to pass along to the Customer Service team
  • Responsible for the collection of route data to analyze route performance and efficiencies to help develop, improve, and grow the value that is provided to the customer
  • Responsible to oversee all weekly, quarterly, and annual correspondence (through KMCA were applicable) with state and federal agencies to ensure on-time payments and renewals with the respective agencies. (e.g., IFTA, IRP, MODOT, FMCSA, etc.)
  • Help drivers with any ELD related issues.
  • Compile required paperwork for each unit.
  • Ensure all units are inspected by due date.
  • Work with Finance to ensure timely renewal of insurance cards.
  • Work with HR to comply with drug testing requirements for random tests or when an accident occurs.
  • Provide other duties as assigned by the Aftersales Director
