About The Position

This position is contingent upon successful contract submission and award. Prevailance is seeking a Senior SERE Instructor to deliver high-risk Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape ( SERE ) training in support of military personnel at Fairchild AFB. This role is ideal for seasoned SERE professionals with Level-C instructional experience who thrive in physically demanding, austere training environments. Travel may be required. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Deliver field and technical SERE instruction (survival, navigation, signaling, evasion, and personnel recovery) Conduct resistance training including role-play scenarios, interrogations, debriefs, and guided discussions Instruct students in use of maps, compasses, GPS, and signaling/recovery devices Train and evaluate students under austere, mountainous, and high-stress conditions Assess student performance and support continuous improvement of training materials

Requirements

  • Graduate of USAF SV81A or an approved DoD SERE Level C (High Risk) Course
  • 5+ years instructing at a Level-C SERE course (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of military service (any branch); minimum rank E-7
  • Honorable discharge (DD-214 required)
  • Ability to meet demanding physical requirements (rucking, prolonged standing, extended instruction hours)
  • Ability to pass SERE psychological and High-Risk training evaluations
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Possesses and maintain a Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • First Aid / CPR or Wilderness First Responder certification
  • Familiarity with USAF SERE program structure and hierarchy
