About The Position

Odyssey Systems is recruiting to fill a Senior Security Manager role supporting the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems. Program description: The ISR/SOF Directorate has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping ISR & SOF warfighters to dominate the battlespace. Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Certifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.
  • Active secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Assist with technical security services for the day-to-day security operations of a complex acquisition portfolio.
  • Support with implementation of information, personnel, physical (related to the protection of classified and unclassified information), and industrial security.
  • Assist with managing newcomer and security-related databases, assisting with newcomer security in-processing and out-processing.
  • Maintain an active JPAS account and assist with verifying personnel security clearances.
  • Prepare and coordinate security-related briefing materials.
  • Assist by recording and tracking security program action items, suspense’s, and processes.
  • Assist with processing personnel security investigation documents, reviewing the investigation documents for accuracy, and tracking submitted requests for personnel security clearances.
  • Assist by providing support to the directorate’s day-to-day security operations.
  • Support the coordination of DD Form 254, DoD contract security classification specification.
  • Assist travelers in preparing OCONUS and CONUS travel clearance and security training requirements
  • Establish and maintain official file plans with the use of AFRIMS.
  • Assist with electronic files management, records management, and file plan management.
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of security program documentation and briefing materials, track metrics, produce weekly and monthly security related reports.
