It's More Than a Job, It's a Career We have an exciting opportunity at Caterpillar for a Senior Security Investigator to investigate complex and sensitive internal allegations of serious violations of policy, procedure, or law throughout the enterprise. What You Will Do: Collecting investigative facts as directed by the Chief Legal Officer, analyzing intelligence and forensic data within the scope of the investigation Executing interviews and investigative strategies; seeking legal collaboration, and approvals as required, for investigative steps Ensuring attorney client privilege, confidentiality and prompt collection of facts Documenting facts objectively, concisely, and promptly to support legal analysis What You Have: Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company Confidential Investigations: Knowledge of the concepts, methods and tools used in confidential investigation; ability to implement confidential investigation and resolution processes concerning harassment complaints Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to various kinds of risks; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations. Crisis Management: Knowledge of crisis management concepts and techniques; ability to predict, avert, mitigate, and recover from an event that has or could have a severely negative impact on the business. Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience Additional Info: The primary locations for this position are Peoria, Illinois or Irving, Texas Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify Sponsorship is not available International and Domestic travel up to 5% Summary Pay Range: $147,760.00 - $221,640.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Responsibilities
