The Senior Security Director – Advanced Programs provides multi‑disciplinary security leadership for classified government programs within the Military Systems business. This role is accountable for the security of personnel, facilities, computers, general information, and information systems supporting sensitive and classified activities. As a second‑line people leader, you will manage and develop a medium to large team of security professionals, overseeing day‑to-day tactical security operations while also shaping longer‑term strategy, policy, and capability for advanced programs. You will use your deep understanding of government security requirements, industry trends, and evolving threats to inform decisions, influence policy, and guide the business as it scales programs from development into full-rate production. A critical aspect of this role is knowing when to handle issues tactically and when to escalate them to a more strategic level, effectively delegating and prioritizing work from executive leadership, and maintaining strong, productive relationships with U.S. Government security counterparts (e.g., within Department of Defense security organizations).
