About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives for our federal client. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Agile methodologies, servant-leadership, and cross-team facilitation within complex program environments. This role will focus on guiding multiple Agile teams, coaching Product Owners, and ensuring delivery of mission-critical solutions by fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills are required, along with proven experience in SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance (required at time of application).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach within IT programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant-leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification required.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Washington, D.C. 20032.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Guide teams in applying Agile principles, practices, and frameworks to maximize value delivery.
  • Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs, establish priorities, and define acceptance criteria.
  • Track and communicate team progress, velocity, and impediments to stakeholders and program leadership.
  • Foster a culture of servant-leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support cross-team coordination, dependency management, and risk mitigation across the program.
  • Collaborate with Program Management to ensure team outputs align with strategic objectives.
  • Utilize Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence for tracking, reporting, and transparency.
