Responsibilities

• Identifies groundbreaking analytical technologies as well as trends in analytical chemistry, synthetic chemistry and chemical engineering.
• Assesses new innovations in science and technology for analytical characterization.
• Partners with other members of the analytical team to characterize drug substances and collaborates within project teams to provide innovative analytical approaches that help solve challenges encountered.
• Identifies post-translational modifications and characterizes structure-activity relationships of products under development.
• Develops, validates and transfers fit-for-purpose quality control (QC) release and stability methods.
• Leads efforts to develop new assays or improve existing methods and transfers methods to other analytical release functions.
