About The Position

Be part of a major FAA modernization effort supporting BNATC initiatives that are advancing how air traffic data is shared, integrated, and used across the National Airspace System. This program is enhancing and expanding a next-generation air traffic management environment, building on existing capabilities to deliver greater reliability, scalability, and operational insight. The Senior Scheduler will play a key role in coordinating complex, multi-vendor initiatives that modernize FAA data exchange, system integration, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience managing schedules for large, complex IT or systems integration programs
• Experience supporting federal government programs; FAA experience strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project (required);
• Ability to collaborate across government, contractor, and technical teams
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Must meet FAA background requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting air traffic management, data exchange, or FAA modernization programs
• PMP, PMI-SP, or similar certification
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
• Coordinate schedules across system upgrades, data services, integration, testing, and deployment activities
• Analyze critical paths, dependencies, and schedule impacts across technical and operational teams
• Support planning for incremental modernization of air traffic management and data-sharing capabilities
• Track progress against baselines and produce clear, executive-level schedule and status reports
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and milestone readiness activities
• Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies in a highly interdependent environment
• Ensure schedules align with FAA governance, contractual requirements, and modernization objectives
