About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant. Location: Houston, TX. Description: Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP FICO modules, ensuring solutions align with business objectives. Handle key areas including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Controlling (CO). Manage integration points with MM, SD, PP, and HR modules. Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with technical (ABAP) teams for custom developments. Configure and optimize financial closing, tax setup, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, and internal orders. Provide expert support during month-end and year-end closing activities. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for business users. Participate in S/4HANA migration or upgrade projects, including testing and validation of finance data models. Ensurepliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and system documentation standards. Provide thought leadership in process improvements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP FICO certification (SAP Certified Application Associate).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and SAP Activate methodology.
  • Exposure to Central Finance (CFIN) or Group Reporting in S/4HANA.
  • Experience in data migration, interfaces, and reporting tools (Fiori, SAC, etc.).
  • Background in working with global clients and multi-country rollouts.
