Our Newest Opportunity: The Sr. Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing scalable, secure, and user-centric Salesforce solutions that enable the organization’s strategic business goals. This role serves as the technical thought leader for the Salesforce platform, guiding design standards, data and integration strategies, and user experience consistency across multiple business lines. The Sr. Salesforce Solution Architect ensures that all Salesforce initiatives align with enterprise architecture principles, best practices, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce core platform capabilities (Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs, Data Model, Security Model).
  • Proven experience translating business processes into intuitive and efficient UX/UI solutions within Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, data architecture, and security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies, including PI planning and backlog refinement.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, solution design, and implementation within complex enterprise environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (preferred).
  • Certifications such as Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, or User Experience Designer.
  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Mulesoft, Snowflake, and Azure integration environments.

Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Solution Design Define the end-to-end Salesforce architecture across all products (Sales, Service, Experience, Financial Services Cloud, and custom applications).
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable solution designs, balancing configuration, code, and integration.
  • Design logical and technical models, including data architecture, process automation, and component design.
  • Partner with the Application Development Manager to ensure that architecture and design standards are consistently implemented through development and release cycles.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions for performance, security, scalability, and adherence to platform standards.
  • User Experience & Interface Design Champion a consistent, intuitive user experience across Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and the development team to translate workflows into optimized Salesforce interfaces (Lightning pages, screen flows, dynamic forms).
  • Establish UX/UI design standards and reusable templates to enhance user adoption and efficiency.
  • Conduct or advise on user experience reviews and feedback sessions to continuously improve platform usability.
  • Integration & Data Strategy Partner with Integration and Data Analytics team to define and document Salesforce data flows, integration patterns, and API usage.
  • Ensure Salesforce data aligns with enterprise data strategy and quality standards.
  • Participate in defining data security, visibility, and sharing models consistent with compliance requirements.
  • Governance & Standards Develop and maintain architecture documentation, design blueprints, and technical standards.
  • Lead the Architecture Approval Board to evaluate proposed enhancements and integrations for alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Application Development Manager on environment management and solution release planning, ensuring architectural integrity throughout the SDLC.
  • Promote adherence to Salesforce security, privacy, and compliance best practices.
  • Collaboration & Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor to Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams.
  • Provide mentorship and architectural guidance to Salesforce developers and administrators.
  • Work cross-functionally with Security, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment across the technology landscape.
  • Contribute to the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) to strengthen platform governance and design maturity.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement Stay current on Salesforce platform innovations, AppExchange solutions, and UX trends.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify architecture, improve maintainability, and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Recommend and evaluate emerging technologies to drive platform modernization and scalability.
