About The Position

In this opportunity as Senior Sales Representative, you will: Articulate and deliver value propositions on how market and client research technical products support a professional services’ organization’s ability to better compete in the market; Present findings from the research and insights developed for C-suite executives to engage them in impactful sales conversations and further the reputation of the Thomson Reuters’ Institute; Design, maintain, and utilize Salesforce reporting features to monitor and build a business pipeline for our products and service offerings; Create and present tailored financial reports on clients’ financial and operational performance according to clients’ needs and specifications; Establish trusted relationships with current and prospective clients, via both virtual and in-person meetings, and attend networking events; Collaborate with team members to determine the best sales strategy for each opportunity; Undertake discovery activity with clients to identify their needs, pain points, and decision-making pathways. May telecommute part of the week from commuting distance to the New York, NY office per our hybrid work policy.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Marketing, Media Arts, or a related discipline followed by 3 years of experience in a technical, software solutions sales representative-related occupation.
  • Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently: 3 years of experience selling market, financial, and client research technical tools and consultation services to top-tier professional services organizations, including law firms; 3 years of experience with Salesforce data analytics and report creation; 3 years of experience selling directly to C-suite executives at large, global professional services organizations, including law firms; 3 years of experience conducting business analysis of research tools and consulting services, and presenting findings to C-suite buyers, including to law firms; 3 years of experience developing business development plans and marketing strategies for approaching large law firms and professional services companies to sell research and consulting services; 3 years of experience in a client-facing sales/account representative role; 3 years of experience writing tailored proposals for custom/advisory work; 3 years of experience presenting marketing research data and analysis to law firm leadership; 1 year of experience creating client-specific financial and operational benchmarking reports for client CFOs and pricing specialists.
