The Senior Sales Inventory and Operations (SIOP) Master Scheduler is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the global eighteen-month master schedule slots as assembly line rate sheets are approved by supply planning activities; utilize mixed model scheduling techniques while aligning with Operations capacity, sequencing, and configuration rules. This role is also responsible for the assignment of selling region forecast group to each slot and any required maintenance to support region to region reallocations and leading the Firm Order Review Meeting weekly to adjust regional allocations; the master schedule slots created will be used by Inside Sales for customer order entry. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS certification.
  • Experience in bill of materials structure, configurator logic, sales options and accessories, product assembly processes, ERP system and sequel, engineering drawings and change processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create or modify master schedule slots to provide availability to the supply plan in daily buckets across the planning horizon and scheduling the sequence within the day to adhere to scheduling rules from Operations, based upon approved assembly line rates.
  • Tag the master schedule slots with the correct forecast group across the planning horizon and revise these as necessary based upon subsequent changes to regional demands, based upon the approved supply plan by region.
  • Apply and assist others on the material management processes that support work order release, inventory transactions, SIOP process, finished goods inventory controls, and intercompany transactions to move finished goods region to region.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Sales, and Global Purchasing and Supply Chain (GPSC) to revise the master schedule dates as constraints occur and the supply plan needs altered.
  • Manage the master schedule slots with the contract manufacturer to ensure a purchase order is released to buy the unit, the configuration is known, and the sales changes are approved and processed.
  • Lead the firm order review to determine if the near-term schedule is aligned with current sales.
  • Coordinate with the SIOP Supply Planning team, GPSC, Sales, and Operations to determine if the slot should be removed or reassign to another region and make any needed adjustments.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Inside Sales, GPSC, and Operations on the request for pilot and preproduction units and ensure planning bills are created to support the MRP demand for such units.
  • Approve all major sales changes where configuration changes are touching contract manufacturing plants, or major options (special paint, engines, booms); coordinate with Operations, and the Contract Manufacturing plant for approvals, and respond to Inside Sales.
  • Maintain the global calendar file for all assembly lines, all assembly line/product code relationships, user authorizations to maintain machine status, and assembly line start dates.
