About The Position

As a Senior Sales Director at GFT Group, you will leverage your extensive network of executive-level contacts and your direct experience working with leading banking and financial services clients. You will be responsible for driving strategic digital transformation initiatives, positioning GFT as a trusted partner for innovation and technology enablement in the financial sector. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding our U.S. presence and delivering measurable business outcomes for our clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of senior sales experience in IT consulting, with a focus on banking and financial services clients in the B2B space.
  • Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation projects for major banks and financial institutions.
  • Deep domain expertise in banking and financial services, with a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technology drivers.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver client-centric solutions.
  • Experience with offshore/nearshore delivery models and managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and industry events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Forge and deepen relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at major banks and financial institutions, utilizing your established network within the sector.
  • Lead the identification, pursuit, and delivery of large-scale digital transformation projects, including cloud migrations, AI/ML, data analytics, and software/application development, tailored to the unique needs of banking clients.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that address complex challenges in the banking and financial services domain.
  • Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, collaborating with technical leaders to architect and deliver innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer experience improvements for financial institutions.
  • Negotiate and influence at the C-suite level, ensuring alignment with both client strategies and GFT’s commercial objectives.
  • Manage key accounts, including full P&L responsibility, and ensure long-term client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Represent GFT at industry events and client meetings nationwide, reinforcing our reputation as a leader in digital transformation for the banking sector.
