As a Senior Sales Data Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in sourcing, validating, and enriching sales and asset data across multiple external providers in support of our U.S. and Canadian retail businesses. This role offers strong exposure across Sales, Finance, Product, and Distribution teams and provides an opportunity to deepen technical expertise while contributing to enterprise-level data initiatives. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow into broader responsibilities over time. This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful ownership, visibility, and opportunity to expand scope through partnership and impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in asset management operations, sales operations, data operations, or a related financial services role.
  • Working knowledge of: Mutual fund and ETF operations Intermediary distribution data Managed account platforms Transaction and shareholder accounting concepts
  • Experience working with external data vendors and operational data feeds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
  • Understanding of data management principles, stewardship, and data quality controls.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business partners and translate data issues into practical explanations.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
  • Interest in expanding responsibilities and building deeper expertise across the sales data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day engagement with external data providers (e.g., SS&C SalesConnect, Broadridge), including monitoring data delivery and validating configuration settings and business rules.
  • Perform reconciliations against books of record to ensure accuracy across mutual funds, ETFs, and managed account platforms.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and document findings and resolutions.
  • Maintain data quality controls throughout the acquisition and aggregation lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Finance, Distribution, and Product teams to understand business needs and support reliable reporting solutions.
  • Assist in the integration of new data sources into existing reporting and analytics frameworks.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting to support sales insight, asset visibility, and decision-making.
  • Document operational processes, standard procedures, and exception workflows.
  • Support reallocations, territory updates, and data corrections in alignment with established governance processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to reduce manual effort and increase data transparency.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for questions related to sales data, reporting logic, and downstream impacts.
