About The Position

In this role, you will hunt for new prospects and opportunities with new customers. Highly driven, you meet and exceed targets by leading with customer value, trust with your outstanding communication skills and have an in-depth proposition knowledge. You know how to structure deals and how to leverage market and business insight to outsell the competition. With a close eye on the sales pipeline, you will identify more opportunities daily, and you will encourage customers to renew their contracts with us. The role of Data & Feeds Associate Sales Specialist, within the high performing Data & Feeds group, will focus on commercializing the next generation of software and data solutions for Hedge Funds, Asset Manager, Corporates, and other financial institutions for front, middle, and back-office operations. You will be tasked with implementing our strategy for long term balanced growth of LSEG’s footprint in this area through an understanding of market and competitive dynamics and will detail and drive Sales execution. The role will require the successful candidate to possess strong direction-setting and influencing skills to work with the local Account Management teams to deliver results. The Data & Feeds Proposition Elements Are Quantitative Feeds solutions (cross asset) Macro Economics Feeds Historical Feeds As Proposition Sales Specialist You Will Be Seen As The Specialist When It Comes To Selling Our Quant & Feeds Data Solutions And Will Be Accountable For Structuring, Negotiating And Closing Deals To Drive Growth By Providing in-depth customer and market insights, to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process Partnering with technical sales engineering leads, you will implement through strong collaborative relationships across matrixed functions, including Account Management, Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, and external partners Supervising all aspects of key competitors, analyzing their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and implement strategies to achieve competitive advantage Driving our thought-leadership agenda as the internal and external spokesperson for your proposition, supporting community building Having a strong eye for business and commercial strategy Being able to influence individuals as well as groups in meetings Able to work on tight deadlines in a high performance and inspiring environment Proactively identifying pipeline opportunities Delivering customer demonstrations on their specific propositions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with data feeds for quantitative use cases and strategy development workflows.
  • Outstanding solutions selling skills with a consistent track record in a quota-bearing environment
  • Highly Driven and Self-Motivated
  • Knowledge and direct experience in selling solutions to the Financial Services community
  • Creative problem solver and good sales conceptualization skills
  • Presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong listening skills and interpersonal skill
  • Expert understanding of quantitative and systematic workflow and Competitor Landscape
  • Strong technical knowledge specifically within the financial markets trade and execution domain
