Requirements

• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Certification specializing in Health Safety preferred.
• Certification credentialed from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers (BCHCM). Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hazard Management & Intervention Coordinate, collect, disseminate, and intervene in a manner that anticipates, prevents, identifies, evaluates, and controls environmental hazards.
• Regulatory Compliance & Readiness Maintain continuous survey readiness through strict compliance with various regulatory agencies and the interpretation of regulations for policy creation.
• EOC & Program Implementation Implement and maintain the Environment of Care (EOC) program, covering fire safety, hazardous materials, security, waste, utilities, and emergency management.
• Risk Analysis & Mitigation Monitor potential hazards, participate in root/apparent cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions while maintaining documentation of all findings.
• Leadership & Education Lead emergency coordination (EC) rounding activities, facilitate EC/EM related education, and oversee EOC/EM Committee(s).
