About The Position

Senior S4 HANA Integration Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company seeks an experienced Senior S4 HANA Integration Specialist in our Hazelwood, MO; Dallas, TX; or Seattle, WA location to join the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S). Boeing Enterprise Business Systems team is looking for a Senior SAP S/4 Integration to join our organization. We are working on one of the world’s largest transformation programs designing, developing and implementing SAP S/4 HANA as our future ERP platform. You will be responsible for leading large digital transformation projects implementing SAP S/4 HANA as our ERP platform across different business units.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering 2+ full cycle SAP implementation projects preferably in lead roles
  • 3+ years' experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
  • Experience with functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) functionality including Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Grouping, Pegging and Distribution (GPD) and Project Systems (WBS)
  • Experience with SAP of 10+ years with 2+ years working on S/4 HANA suite of applications
  • 3+ years' experience working with multiple internal or external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects or transactions

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in STEM or Business fields or related fields with 8 or more years' work experience in SA
  • Excellent team player with a “can do” attitude and strong written and oral communication skills
  • SAP S/4 HANA (e.g. MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, WM, ABAP) certified
  • SAP Activate, SAFe, PMP certified
  • Experience in implementing SAP in A&D (Aerospace & Defense) or Automotive/ Discrete Manufacturing industry
  • Experience in FAA, FAR, DFARS & CAS and other Govt. compliance areas
  • Experience with Data cleansing and data mapping techniques
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, MS Project
  • Strong project management skills, customer-oriented, positive and flexible attitude

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project implementation teams comprising of Boeing employees and System Integrators at different business units and sites
  • Create and manage complex enterprise-wide project plans following SAP Activate methodology and lead activities to manage scope, budget, dependencies, risks and schedules for SAP projects
  • Seamlessly partner with all stakeholders (e.g. business, other IT teams, system integrators etc.) and drive timely delivery of the solution across all project phases (SAP Activate phases: discover, prepare, explore, realize, deploy, run)
  • Build and continuously update knowledge on common core processes following industry best practices and defined architectural standards
  • Ensure the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, and upgradable into next generation solutions (minimize customizations)
  • Lead activities to manage project scope, budget, dependencies, risks, and schedules for SAP projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues
  • Share insights and best practices with project teams to enhance overall project execution and outcomes
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to address them
  • Maintain a risk register and provide regular updates to stakeholders on risk status and resolution efforts
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet defined standards and requirements
  • Develop and execute change management plans to facilitate smooth transitions to new systems and processes
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new solutions
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and track progress against established goals
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for future projects
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from team members and stakeholders and implementing process enhancements
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of all project phases, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps
  • Assess resource needs for projects and coordinate with management to allocate appropriate personnel and expertise
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and support to enhance team capabilities and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement integration strategies that align with business objectives and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions with existing systems and processes
