About The Position

A well-established engineering firm is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Project Engineer - Roadway Design to work in one of its Tennessee offices: Nashville, Murfreesboro, or Chattanooga. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing roadway corridors, interchanges, widening projects, intersection and safety improvements, and multimodal transportation projects. Experience with state DOT and municipal clients is preferred. Task management experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 6-15 years of progressive experience in transportation/roadway design.
• Familiarity with DOT processes, plan development, specifications, and cost estimating.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Knowledge of relevant design standards and guidelines (e.g., MUTCD, ADA).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license.
