About The Position

The position is for a Senior Risk Assessor that will be responsible for all health -based risk assessment aspects of the various projects for a variety of clients. This includes human health and ecological risk assessment.

Requirements

• Master of Science (MS) degree with a focus in environmental toxicology.
• Certification from the International Board of Environmental Risk Assessors.
• A minimum of 25 years of professional experience in environmental risk assessment or a related field

Responsibilities

• Lead development of human health and ecological risk assessments under CERCLA or state regulations.
• Work with other staff on data management and development of conceptual site models.
• Response to client and agency comments on risk assessments.
• Work on risk aspects of CERCLA or RCRA documents such as CMS, RIs, Proposed Plans, Feasibility Studies, RODs, 5 Yr Reviews, ESDs and ROD Amendments.
• Understand the basis of remedial goals and how to update.
• Support Vapor intrusion risk assessments.
• Support development of sampling plans such that sufficient samples, of acceptable quality, will be developed for evaluation in the risk assessments.
