About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking a seasoned Right-of-Way (ROW) professional to lead and grow our ROW practice in the Bellevue, WA office. This role focuses on technical excellence, team leadership, and mentorship, ensuring the successful delivery of complex ROW projects while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in ROW with a strong technical foundation and leadership background.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state ROW regulations.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and project site visits.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional licensure or ROW-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of ROW professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and career development opportunities.
  • Champion technical excellence by overseeing project quality, compliance with federal and state regulations, and innovative solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate strategically with other practice leaders to align technical standards and share best practices across disciplines.
  • Develop talent through training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives that strengthen technical and professional skills.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration within the ROW team and across Kimley-Horn’s multidisciplinary practices.
  • Ensure successful project delivery, meeting client expectations and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating best practices and emerging technologies into the ROW practice.
