Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Right-of-Way (ROW) Technical Specialist in Chattanooga, TN or Knoxville, TN to function as an integrated staff for our client. In this role you will support the acquisition of right-of-way (ROW) and ROW related activities as assigned such as conduct/complete Title reports, perform negotiations, and provide relocation assistance. Role accountabilities: The ROW Technical Specialist should have experience in acquisition and negotiations of right of way and easements, relocation assistance, reading and interpreting title reports, closings and condemnation. Reading and interpreting right of way and construction plans, and experience and understanding of the Uniform Relocation Act. Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel, property owner and occupant due diligence, negotiations for acquisition of rights and relocation of displaced inhabitants relative to public or private projects. Attend public meetings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in right-of-way plan review, acquisition, title research, relocation, and closings.
  • Prequalified with, or the ability to become prequalified, with TDOT.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with a team, communicate and document effectively, and oversee large volumes of work.
  • Possess the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Attention to detail and quality are essential.

  • The salary range for this position is $90916- $112509. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
