About The Position

AECOM's Transportation business line has a position available in Piscataway or Bloomfield, NJ for a Senior Right of Way Engineer - This candidate must be very familiar with NJTA and NJDOT ROW plan and document production. Design work will include Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design, and Final Design. This is a hybrid-role requiring in-office presence 3 days/week. The individual in this role will be entrusted with critical responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering plus eight years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
PE in New Jersey State or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Nice To Haves

Significant experience using engineering design, modeling, and drafting software (Bentley or AutoDesk)
Strong organizational skills
Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)

Responsibilities

Understanding of NJ ROW Law and appraisal processes for Transportation projects.
Experience in the preparation and review of all right of way deliverables in accordance with NJTA and NJDOT procedures and standards.
Experience in the preparation and review of jurisdiction and maintenance limit maps and agreements.
