About The Position

This Senior Revenue Administrator (SRA) position is located in the Property Tax Oversight (PTO) Program Research and Analysis Process in Tallahassee. The position assists the Research and Analysis Manager with managing the intensive reporting process. The incumbent performs highly independent and collaborative work managing complex projects and processes. The SRA manages the production and distribution of internal and external property tax reports used for decision-making, including the Databook, county and municipal millage and levy summaries, special legislative reports, performance measures, and sales analysis. This position also works with all process staff to develop and maintain process documentation and improve process efficiency through process mapping, designing improvement projects, and implementing process changes as needed. The SRA serves as a key liaison with PTO and ISP staff to develop and maintain the PTO Data Warehouse and assists with Revenue Estimating conference analysis and presentations. This is a supervisory position.

Requirements

  • Four years of data collection and analysis experience
  • Two years of producing, performing quality assurance checks, and/or managing the production of reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in statistics, mathematics, business, social science, finance, or related fields
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and methodologies pertaining to property taxes as set forth in the Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code Rules
  • Experience with statistical analysis
  • Experience using statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, R, or similar applications
  • Experience with Power BI or other related reporting tools/packages
  • Supervisory or team leader experience
