About The Position

A Senior Resource Coordinator position is available at Garney Construction in N. Kansas City, MO. The Senior Resource Coordinator leads the governance, quality, and adoption of Administration processes and training at scale. Owns the lifecycle of SOPs/manuals, designs, and facilitates onboarding and continuing education, and serves as the primary liaison to technology and cross-functional teams to translate operational changes into simple, usable standards. Drives continuous improvement with clear metrics, audits, and feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Advanced written communication; able to turn complex processes and system changes into clear, step-by-step guidance.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management across functions and levels.
  • Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of SharePoint site/library administration; process mapping in Visio/Lucidchart.
  • Analytical mindset; trends training outcomes and operational data to recommend improvements.
  • Exceptional organization and time management; able to manage multiple releases/projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain process manuals and SOPs for Project Coordinator and Administration Coordinator roles.
  • Establish and maintain SharePoint information architecture  to keep manuals, spreadsheets, and reference materials organized and discoverable.
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits; publish gap analyses and lead corrective action plans.
  • Serve on working groups for new systems/process rollouts impacting Administration; convert designs into SOP updates, quick-reference guides, and training.
  • Pilot and iterate new workflows with IT/HRIS/Operations; capture lessons learned and integrate into documentation and training.
  • Communicate updates with concise “What changed / Why / By when / Action needed” summaries.
  • Provide coaching and targeted retraining where audit results or KPIs indicate adoption gaps.
  • Identify inefficiencies; implement improvements to reduce cycle time, errors, and rework.
  • Track and report KPIs: manual currency %, training completion rate and scores, time-to-update after change, audit pass rate, and top support themes.
  • Maintain a visible backlog/roadmap for documentation and training enhancements.
